Booking & Payments

How far in advance should I book my Andaman ferry?+
For peak season (December–February), book at least 2–3 weeks ahead. Premium and Royal classes sell out first. For off-season, a few days is usually fine.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept UPI, all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, RuPay), net banking from all Indian banks, popular wallets, and EMI on credit cards. All payments are processed securely via Razorpay.
Is it cheaper to book directly with the cruise operator?+
No — we charge the same fare as the operator. We make a small commission on confirmed bookings paid by the operator, not by you. The advantage of booking with us is the ability to compare all operators in one place and get human support when you need it.
Will I get a GST invoice?+
Yes — every confirmed booking includes a GST-compliant invoice emailed to you within 24 hours. If you need a corporate invoice with your company details, message us before booking.
Can I book for someone else?+
Yes, you can book for friends and family. You'll need their full name and ID details (which are required for ferry travel), but the payment and contact details can be yours.

Cancellations, Refunds & Changes

Can I change or cancel my booking?+
Yes — cancellation rules vary by operator and timing. Most allow free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure, then partial refunds within 24 hours. See our Refund Policy for the full breakdown.
What if the ferry is cancelled due to weather?+
Operators reschedule or refund automatically when sea conditions prevent travel. We'll WhatsApp you within minutes of any disruption and help rebook free of charge.
How long do refunds take?+
Once approved, refunds typically reach your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment method. UPI is fastest (2–5 days), card refunds take a bit longer.
Can I change passenger names after booking?+
Small typos (1–2 characters) can usually be corrected for free up to 24 hours before departure. Larger changes require rebooking. Message us as soon as you spot the error.

On the day of travel

Do I need ID for the ferry?+
Yes — every passenger (including children) needs a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, voter ID, or driving licence). Bring the original, not a photocopy. International tourists need passport + arrival permit (RAP).
How early should I reach the jetty?+
At least 45 minutes before departure for security checks and boarding. Operators close check-in 15 minutes before sail time and won't wait — late arrivals lose their ticket.
How much luggage can I bring?+
Most operators allow one cabin bag (~7 kg) and one check-in bag (15–20 kg) per adult passenger. Excess baggage incurs per-kg charges, paid at the jetty. Diving gear and large items should be declared in advance.
Is sea-sickness a concern?+
Generally no — modern cruises (Makruzz Gold, Nautika, Sealink) are stabilised and the journey is smooth. If you're prone to motion sickness, take a tablet 30 minutes before boarding and pick a seat in the middle of the lower deck.

Planning your Andaman trip

What's the best time to visit the Andamans?+
October through May is the main season — calm seas, sunny days. Peak demand is mid-December to early January and during national holidays. June to September is monsoon, with rougher seas and occasional ferry cancellations, but lower prices.
How many days do I need?+
Minimum 5 nights to see Port Blair + Havelock comfortably. 6–7 nights lets you add Neil Island. 8+ for Baratang, scuba certification, or off-the-beaten-path islands. Less than 4 nights tends to feel rushed because half a day is spent on each transfer.
Do you book hotels and packages too?+
Yes — share your dates on the Plan a Trip form or WhatsApp and we'll send a custom quote with hotels, transfers, ferries, scuba and Cellular Jail tickets all in one place. Usually back within a few hours.
Can I drink alcohol on the islands?+
Yes, alcohol is available in most hotels and beach restaurants on Havelock and Port Blair. Carrying alcohol onto the ferries is not permitted by the operators.
